Greenwich Police say they responded to Greenwich Hospital on a report of an assault around 12:45 p.m. on Monday, July 15.
Further investigation revealed that the incident occurred at a residence on Harbor Drive, police say. The suspect, identified as 46-year-old Patrick Bria of Cos Cob, choked the victim around the neck area and punched him numerous times in the chest, causing the victim to sustain neck, back and chest bruises, according to police.
Bria was arrested and charged with third-degree assault. He was released after posting $100 bond and is scheduled to appear at Stamford Superior Court on Monday, July 29.
